Good day/ Hello,
I am a psychomotor development instructor for children under one year of age.
In 2019, I have completed an intensive course on proper handling, carrying a baby in arms and stimulating/playing with a baby according to Eva Kiedroňová’s methodology in Prague.
Even before the birth of my daughter, I got my hands on two books by Eva Kiedroňová, which explains why the child’s psychomotor development and proper handling within one year is important. This is a unique methodology, developed on the basis of 40 years of a rehabilitation nurse experience. She talks about the consequences of incorrect stimulation and handling of the baby, how to properly hold the baby in your arms. At the same time, this methodology supports the creation of a strong emotional bond between the baby and the parents.
And what does psychomotor development and proper handling mean?
Child´s psychomotor development in individual months tells about how, when and in what quality the child should be developing, for example the correct implementation of crawling, sitting and walking techniques.
I want to teach you how to prepare for the arrival of your baby, create environment similar to conditions when your baby was still in your womb.
This means providing the feeling of security, safety and warmth, calm communication and proper stimulation.
I will explain you how, when and in what way you need to teach your child correct moving patterns, how to avoid his overstimulation and slowing his natural development.
I will teach you how to easily carry your baby in different positions within your arms, and how to handle baby to correct positioning on his back and belly. These positions helps against tummy pain, and prepare baby for a quality sleep.
